Hi! I’m Trisha Hopman, a music composer based in Canada. I have been blessed with an amazing husband, Gus, and three children. I’ve enjoyed a lifelong love for music and have invested countless hours in listening, studying, performing, and composing.
My music is inspired by the natural world, as well as the emotions that can only be truly known through life's experiences—whether trials or joys. I aim to compose pieces that tell a story, whether for quiet listening, visual media, or worship settings.
I have a deep appreciation for a wide range of instruments and genres. Whether you’re looking for a short jingle for your business or a full composition—solo, choral, orchestral, or a film score—I’d be excited to help bring your vision to life.
My training with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Canada has shaped my work across many genres, with a focus on the staple composers of history—from Bach and Beethoven to Chopin and Rachmaninoff. Having completed in-depth studies in music theory, I love to analyze the mathematical and artistic makeup of the music we hear.
